Facet Duralift #40223
40222 and 40223 are the same pump, but the 40223 has the Packard connector whereas the 40222 is bare wire. Pegasus Auto Racing has the 40222 in stock for $94.99. I have purchased both of my pumps (1 spare) from them with very good service.- Robt.Webster

What is the advantage of an electric Fuel pump? Pros and cons?

Changing out a mechanical pump alongside the road would be a real *****. I keep a spare Facet behind the seat with the hose fittings already installed with a plug connect on the electrical side. Changing this pump is a 15 minute job. In addition to the other things said, in case of a runaway...- Robt.Webster

US Gear Repair in North-Central Florida
About a year or so ago, I read in a post that someone had a shop somewhere in North-Central Florida repair their US Gear box for them. Real oil pressure gauge
Has anyone ever replaced the switch and modified the in-cab display accordingly to turn it into a true oil pressure guage? Should be doable, but might be more trouble than it's worth, but would make aa nice, clean installation.- Robt.Webster

Your photos of the DNE unit look the same as my US Gear unit, except for the name on the switch cover. As I mentioned before, mine does not have the internal switches (although it has the provisions to mount them) and uses a US Gear control box. Yes, my unit has this style of motor with the motor leads running in to the screw housing and connecting to the pins that penetrate the cover. Sorry, meant "TDP" for time delay pickup for a relay where the output is delayed upon receiving an input. A 'one shot' relay is also known as a 'single shot' or a pulse. A relay that would suit this purpose would be the TRD-M from Wolsten Tech...- Robt.Webster

Carrier Lift Pump Mounting Assistance
