Same sub-par mileage even after IP re-timed.. ugh!
Where is your water temp needle? For best fuel mileage it should be, IIRC about 1/3 into the normal range when up to operating temp.[read the FAQ'S] ---seems to me like 190F at the top hose if you have an infrared thermometer. Replacing the thermostat with an oem Ford one increased my mileage...- Popeye2347

Moms Crew Cab too DANGEROUS to Drive. Help!
Maybe a little off topic, but I once had a trailer that would 'walk/wander' at and above ~45 mph. After lots of head scratching discovered the rubber in the shackles were bad.- Popeye2347

09S09 Recall Notice
3'rd sticky from the top-read all about it.... 2x remove the wires from the master cylinder until you get the recall done. FWIW it took all of 3 minutes for the tech to install the inline fuse on my IDI F250. All done in their parking lot adjacent to the service counter.- Popeye2347

In addition to the emergency kit I always keep some heat packs, some for hands others for your feet, and insulated coveralls or snowsuit. Just another reason to do the work yourself or use an independent garage. Yes, I know that for a factory recall you have to go to a dealer, but limit you visits. Speedo needle bounce Problem
At about 62-68 mph my speedometer needle will bounce, not a lot mind you, but enough to set my 'OFF' light on the shift lever to flashing. Pass rear brake locks up
The brake hardware is probably the problem, but are both drums dry? Maybe a bad seal allowing diff lube onto the brakes causing it to grab? I had a similar problem, turns out it was a bad seal and hardware that failed.- Popeye2347

Fuel problem please help!
It sounds like a good idea however you need to check the law on this one as I have seen numerous stickers on fuel transfer tanks warning against such hookups. It would be almost as good to just pump from the aux tank into your good tank/bypassing the selector valve if need be. Keeps you away...- Popeye2347

Do you know to troubleshoot a short you can jumper the fuse with a light bulb [or any load for that matter], then you can 'read' voltage at various points along the circuit with a voltmeter or test light, until you find the short/ground?
