I do that here in Minnesota quite a lot. The best way that I know to find out is to go to your local State Patrol barracks and start asking questions. I did that here and by time I left, I had a copy of the laws pertaining to pulling doubles that the officer copied right out of his hand book...- MnTom

Heck, if it runs decent you can always sell the engine and make money. As far as the tranny, you can get a Goerend Bros. tranny for about $2500 complete (www.gbtransmissions.com). Even at $5000 you still have a decent deal in my book. Tom- MnTom

Batteries.
Optima red tops were in mine when I bought it over 3 years ago. I have yet to touch the betteries and at times they do get a work out. I think they are great. Tom- MnTom

Rear Brake Cylinder Replacement?
You guys that have the wheel cylinders really should think about doing the swap. I did and MAN, what a difference!!! Even my wife noticed a difference when I stop. If she notices................anybody will!! Tom- MnTom
