    Getting ready to replace my cooler as well. I have been told that there is no good way to clean the cooler. The passages are too small and delicate. Wish it wasn't so, but it sounds like another cooler is called for.

    Scared for what you will find... Green doesn't play well with orange coolant. Should have had gold if factory, of red if a concerned previous owner had made the switch.

    Military surplus cotton is what I have been using for the last 25 years. Light weight and about as much give as anyone could ask for (think rubber band that won't snap).

    Check out Green Diesel Engineering in MI. They do some good tunes for the Euro stuff. Got their stuff on my Liberty CRD. They also do MB. Say bye bye to the the EGR and some other unwanted stuff.
