I have an intermittent starting issue with 95 7.3L manual transmission. I replaced the clutch/starter safety switching thinking that was the problem as when I got it off and looked at it it was sticking open. Transmission Oil Change
I have 1995 7.3 manual transmission I believe that the previous owners may have used 10w-30 or 40 in it. Can I switch back to an actual transmission fluid without damaging anything? Also is there a filter in this? I know that automatic transmissions have a filter but what about the manual?- kcdigiacomo

1995 Ford found one at pick-n-pull for $6. Wish I would have checked here first. Next project is fuel tanks. Having issue with rear tank since lent to a friend and he ran out of fuel. Thinking shower head is clogged or collapsed. Would love recommendation on procedure before tackling this one.- kcdigiacomo

So I called O'reilly's auto and they gave me their part number, Holy crap 243.00. Part # F4TF-17D539 is off of the relay itself.- kcdigiacomo

I cannot get my wipers or washer to work. Is there an in-line fuse I might be missing? Backstory, My turn signals were not working and listened to General Mechanic friend swore it was the signal switch, (turns out was just the bulbs), so much for that advice. Yes, have driven it some was just idling in driveway for about an hour and just shut off not sputtering just shut down, started right back up- kcdigiacomo

Got it started but glow plug relay show voltage on 3 terminals when running. Is that normal? I was getting nothing on the terminal that has 2 wires connected to it, which I assume is the glow plug wires.- kcdigiacomo

So I think my relay maybe burned out. Truck will crank and white smoke comes out of exhaust pipe. Back story. I lent the truck to a friend and he ran it out of fuel.
