    I suppose that you could, but, to me anyway, it's kind of like trying to reinvent the wheel. Those are probably the original olives, they have worked for this long, new ones will probably last that long again. Just my opinion though.     Yes. It's horrible. Yes. Still no generator though. I don't pull it often enough to justify any attempts.

    You'll have to be careful. Most of them are made to plug into a OBD2 port. You'll have to find one that uses a cigarette lighter plug. Also don't leave them on for longer periods of time very often. I used to leave my first one on over the weekend occasionally, but it burned out a couple of lights.

    I loaded up the last of the fire wood at my house and tool it over to the garage. There was a little bit more than I thought. I had almost a full load, but I thought there was only 1/2-1/3 of one.

    The speedo drive gear in my transfer case is bad. I use an aftermarket speedometer that uses a GPS signal for the speed. There's no odometer, but I can live without that.

    Believe it or not, you are getting there. It's astounding, to me, how many people don't want to spend much money to fix an old truck, but won't even blink an eye about spending MANY times that amount on a new one. cookoo
