    Powerstroke fuel system

yeah, I know about the P pump conversion for the 24 valve. After trashing 2 VP's on the Old Man's '02 Ram because he would not take my advice and ditch the mechanical lift pump for an electric that fails open and tells you that you lost fuel pressure .... now it has a P pump. I though some...

    Powerstroke fuel system

Thank you for your response. Now if I may, I would like bother with a couple more questions. so does the solenoid sit atop the injector? Is this why Powerstroke injectors cost $1200? How reliable is the HPOP and what does it cost to replace? How long do these injectors and HPOP typically...

    auto or manual?

I vote manual with a hydro boost conversion to eliminate the vacuum pump. one less part to fail.... but I would go t-18 with a Ranger torque splitter.

    Any tips on 6.5 rebuild

Heath is right. He has done all the testing. SS is just copying Bill Heath. While you are at it you should move the PMD out side behind the front bumper.

6.5l Detroit vs 7.3l IDI Turbo

I have recent experience with a 6.5 turbo..... sunk thousands into it. new IP, new hi pop injectors, replaced the injector lines, new non waste gated turbo, 3" cross over and down pipe with a 4" exhaust. Heath GL4 chip (the only advantage with a DS4 is the ability to command more fuel and bigger...
