Who has had an add a leaf on there d60 and then took it out?
As far as I know steering stabilizers shouldn't be necessary if everything is tight and straight with stock size tires and such. My truck has done fine without it the last 20k miles. I'm just wondering if that is a tapered caster shim.- e30bradley

That is supposed to be like that. Shawn, it looks like you have something between your spring and the axle. Is that a caster shim? What is it? I don't have anything between my springs and the axle. I don't have a steering stabilizer either although the truck I took the axle from had one.- e30bradley

The shocks are Monroe. I don't know which model. I'm pretty sure the front springs are 4250lbs capacity per side.. so 9500 lbs of springs and my truck only weighs 6500 ish- e30bradley

The third leaf is part of the pack. It's under the other two and reaches all the way under the eyelets. The triple leaf packs are available online. Like I said, the po of my truck put one in right before I bought it and then the d60 swap truck I found just happened to have a like new triple...- e30bradley

How many leaf springs do you have in the front of your truck? I've never seen a ford come with more than two front leaf springs. Even f450 two Car rollback trucks.- e30bradley

1993 Ford f250 xl 7.3 idi stalling after throttle let off
You probably need a new pump. Don't get it from napa. I bought one from napa and after 11 months it was going this so I got it warranteed now that one is doing it after less than a year. I just want my money back.- e30bradley

When I bought my f250 it had a d44 ttb with new tripple leaf pack and rode like crap. Fall 2015 I swapped in a d60 with a newer triple leaf pack from a dump truck. I remember feeling like it rode a bit better but lately the ride is really getting to me. The back of the truck has the standard...- e30bradley

Just installed turbo on my 6.9 now leaking oil
Today after work I swapped out the cylinder 2 injector line so I could fit the factory air box to the engine. I was thinking the draft of the intake would pull more crank case pressure out than just a hose to the ground off the CDR. The leak has reduced some. At idle when the engine is hot...- e30bradley

Just installed turbo on my 6.9 now leaking oil
The truck leaks at idle too, not just when boosted. I just don't know why it would have so much pressure using factory turbo 7.3 parts. Do turbo idis usually leak?- e30bradley

Just installed turbo on my 6.9 now leaking oil
I am using the factory turbo 7.3 valve cover with the 7.3 CDR valve. I used permatex sealant after letting the engine Drip without the pan on for at least 24hrs. Prior to putting the turbo on I drove at least 10,000 miles on the new pan without one drop of oil. After putting the turbo on...- e30bradley

Dual tanks with electric pump and manual valves
I made a sending unit for my rear tank, it has 18" of vertical 3/8" fuel line. I am really just wondering if my facet pump will pull fuel through all that hose from the back tank, up the the floor pan, through ball valves, and all the way back down to the frame rail by the transfer case.- e30bradley

I have a facet pump installed right now, just in front of the front tank with a 100 micron hydraulic filter before it. If I read that article correctly, the fuel gets pulled all the way from BOTH tanks through the valves and then gos to the electric pump?- e30bradley
