so if i were to go the gas route you'd recommend either a 460 or 454? Do you think they'd be worse on fuel than an idi?- bobbybusch

I saw that one! good looking truck. When it comes to fords what auto trans is better the c6, or e4od or what ever the other is? I have always wanted a manual truck but they are surprisingly more expensive than autos....- bobbybusch

ok, good to know. I know diesel if far superior to gas when it comes to towing, but what about a dually gas truck, like the ford 460 or v10, chevy 454 or dodge v10? I want a diesel truck but gas trucks are typically cheaper. any insight on that?- bobbybusch

Do you have any suggestion on 6.9 or 7.3? Thats the best part of having friends with similar interest, they buy the cars, i get a truck, i get to use the car! Ill let them spend their money on cars.- bobbybusch
