The Truth. Sometimes a guy needs to be reminded of that. I am like everybody else....trying to live life on a budget. But an extra 500 bucks now to get the heavy duty tranny will make the difference in the long run. And and extra 500 bucks is not going to make a difference 6 months from now...- Billy

Thanks again. Shoot, I knew it was to good to be true. Trying to keep the cost down but I don't want "no stinkin gassers". I can get a regular E4OD for under one thousand. But I can't touch an E4OD new or rebuilt for under 1400. I think I need the extra beef for this rig if I were to do...- Billy

Better Tranny I can't believe Ford doesn't have a 4 speed od tranny for that year and a 7.3L. That engine is used in so many applications. There got to be one for towing and highway use that can comfortably get me up to an all day 70 mph range....? Billy:confused:- Billy
