    EXCURSION

I found a 2002 Excursion with a 7.3L PSD. The truck is extremely clean and in excellent shape. The issue is it has 217,000 miles on it. The man who owned it was a pharmaceutical rep and kept it on the road all of the time. It is a limited with every option available. The attractive part is the...

    Opinions/reviews of the 94-97 Banks Techni-cooler

I am not usually a Banks fan but the Banks IC is fantastic. I installed one on my '97 PSD after installing an ATS kit on my dads truck. The ATS kit prices for $1000 and the Banks for $1487, and trust me, the Banks kit is worth every penny of the extra $500. It is a very professional kit that is...

    Chips for 94-97 PSD

I have the Tony Wildman chip on my '97 and I love it. Mileage increased by 3mpg and the power increase is amazing. I recommend the heavy tow tune as it is great for pulling loads.

    7.3 longevity

I know you can have issues with any engine. The last Dodge I had (2009) had to have two engines before 80,000. I never had anything but trouble with it. I bought the Ford mainly because of the condition and the room that it has. I love the Cummins but am not a big fan of the Dodge truck.

    7.3 longevity

I have always been a Dodge/Cummins man and except for a 97 OBS PSD, I have exclusively owned a Cummins powered truck. Yesterday, I bought a 2001 Crew Cab F250 4x4, 7.3L PSD with only 52,000 on it. The truck belonged to my neighbor (89 yrs old) who passed away. The truck has absolutely every...

    6.4 intercooler

Does anyone know if an intercooler off of a 6.4L psd will fit a '97 7.3 PSD?

    Bullydog /Edge

No, the 99-03 programmer will not work. I have a TS performance chip with Wildman tunes on my 97. I ordered it from Total Diesel Performance and I love it.

    up pipe donuts

I am going to change the up pipe donuts on my 97 psd. Is there anyway to do this without removing the turbo?

    burning oil

It gets a bunch of cold weather start ups. -20 is common. I know the oil is thicker, but how does this affect oil consumption?

    burning oil

My 97 f250 is burning oil! The engine has 160k on it and has always been maticulously maintained. Aside from a boost leak, the engine has never caused me one problem. It is burning about 2 quarts in 4k miles. The engine runs perfect, no smoke, no loss of power, fuel mileage remains excellent, and...

    Dana 60

I am getting ready to swap in a Dana 60 into my F250. Anyone got a 60 for sale? Thanks!

    boost

This is my point exactly. I had low boost completely stock. If I was supposed to get 18-20 psi, I was getting 5-8 psi. This is with no mods except exhaust and intake. I swapped out the turbo because the truck suddenly started burning oil. The new turbo stopped all of the oil consumption, but...

    boost

You are correct, you cannot swap the housing on the Dominator 66. It is rated to 40 psi, however I have never been above 15. I did speak with Ryan at BDP and he told me that with the stock injectors, I would see about the same boost as stock. The power band is different though.

    boost

You are absolutely right about the mileage being down. I went from 20 around town to about 16. I knew that I would need more fuel to spin the turbo, but wanted to add air before fuel. I have an intercooler but just have not installed it yet. The boost was around 10 psi completely stock and I...
