what year axles for obs 4wd swap??
We get quit a bit of snow and while I don't offroad my truck I do haul a trailer loaded down with either horses or cows through fields and dirt roads often enough to need 4x4. I've been stuck 6 times this winter already, and IDC if you have posi loc or not a foot and a half of snow WILL slow you...- Bako IDI

what year axles for obs 4wd swap??
What would be your guy's advice on the crossmember for the TTB? I know it's welded into the frame and is absent in the TIB 2wd front end. Just curious what I should do? Should i try and scarf it off the frame? I haven't found many write ups on people putting TTBs in, only write ups on taking...- Bako IDI

Awesome, thank you Thewespaul. That's exactly what I was looking for. I have heard only 88 and up but from what I've seen the bullnose has the same frame. Also, I found a decent deal on axles out of a 2000 f350 single wheel, what all is needed for that swap in terms of Fab work?- Bako IDI

No Start/electrical?
Ended up being the 20a fuse and a fusible link on the p/s fender area. The old IDI is running good now with the new electric pump! Thanks fellas!- Bako IDI

I followed instructions someone posted for what prongs go to what on the relay but one of them was backwards so I swapped them around. No sure if that could've caused it, sending power the wrong way. I'm not real keen on electrical stuff- Bako IDI

So this last weekend I was putting in a facet duralift electric pump on my 7.3. Most of the write ups said to splice into the FSS for key on power. I pulled the plug but didn't like the idea of it so I spliced into the blue wire on top of the fuel filter housing (fuel heater?). Anyways I went...- Bako IDI

VSS WIRING?
awesome thank you guys!! ill try that before I throw a new vss at it.. I know I should read the codes but my ford dealership is too far to limp it there. you guys wouldn't happen to have a part # for the vss would you? so I know there is a billion threads on the vss for our trucks, but I cant seam to find one that answers my question, so I apologize in advance for making ANOTHER thread for it... A/C smells like P!SS
so it was a new truck, pulled the intake off for the first time (big banks non wastegated intake box) and it had a fairly large rats nest in it, did my return lines, put it all back together, ive driven it around for a couple days and no **** smell.... guess that was it:cheers::thanks:- Bako IDI

Oh hell yea, before the price of oil dropped I ran equipment on an oil lease out there, we would find shark teeth ALL the time diggin trenches.
