new to the 6.0
I am thinking of a coolant filter first off from sinister diesel. How consuming are the egr delete kits to put in? Anyone know anything about the SCT live wire ts performance monitor/programmer?- 9779scott

I assume you guys are running open exhaust. Does the 6.0 act like the 7.3 with open pipes and get alittle better fuel mileage or is open exhaust a no no on the 6.0. I just bought an 06- 9779scott

new to the 6.0
I have always had a truck with the 7.3. I just bought an 06 f350 with 190,000. List of parts replaced by ford between 105 and 135 are as follows. Turbo, ficm, clutch, tranny rebuilt, all 8 injectors, egr valve, water pump, head gaskets ( no studs though). Oil and coolant looks good. What add...- 9779scott

Turbo Out???
A friend of mine has a 99 PS. I have not looked at it yet but he says he has no power and there is alot of oil comming out of the intake tube by the turbo. I asumme this would be the turbo. I have not had to do a turbo yet. Any idea on the cost to fix.- 9779scott

lift pump wearing out, leaking air?
If it is getting small amounts of air in the system it will rev up not loose RPM's. I had a problem where i had a line that had a small crack in it and it would open up just alittle when going around a right corner and the truck would feel like like just hit the nitro button and break the tires...- 9779scott

I cant say for sure that they are the original pump and injectors as I have only had the truck about a year. I dont really want to spend the money on a ferret adaptor because I am hoping to get into a PSD CC LB with the 6 speed in a year or so '' divorce is a *****''. I think i will back the...- 9779scott

Egt's are well within range. I would guees the fuel system has the same as the truck which is 230ish. I have done the ATF thing like a year ago. Fuel addatives I have tried all produce the same results, Lucas, Howes, PS- 9779scott

Sorry I meant thickness. Will it kill GP's or melt them? I would love to have it timed correctly but I can not find a shopp that does it correctly, as we all know there are not alot of shops that know how to deal with these trucks nor want to.- 9779scott
