Its Been 5 Years....
Has anyone tried a Snap-on socket instead of the Rotunda or OTC "special" socket? They make deep flare nut socket that look basically like the special socket. FRXM19 is a flare nut socket in 19mm and FRX201 is a 5/8". The online list price is $51.50 for the 19mm, which is still not cheap, but...- 460mudsports

91 with rearend change, now speedometer is off.
If you can't find the correct transmission speedometer gear, you can always get a gear adapter made that goes in the speedometer cable. fold flat front or reach bench?
+1 on the rear seats in conversion vans I have seen a lot of those in junkyards over the years and they would be close dimensionally to the rear seat in a CC and probably the easiest to adapt. Ronnie- 460mudsports

A local guy has an 85 or 86 F250 6.9 C6 with ATS turbo for sale. Curb weight?
I just got an 87 F250 reg cab long bed 2wd 7.3 zf-5 for parts. It is complete other than no drivers door. It scaled at 5260 with unknown fuel amount. My 95 F150 reg cab long bed 5.8 weighs 5100 full of gas and toolboxes.- 460mudsports

93 F350 4x4 crew cab parts mule
Gotta love transport yellow. Park it anywhere in Wally World and lot find it easy. My 95 F150 is that same color. It is a factory equipment enamel style paint, not basecoat/clearcoat. I thought that was weird on a 95, but Ford did make it that way.- 460mudsports

what year beds will fit my truck?
80-86 have the crease that goes up and over the wheel wells. 87-96/7 have the same crease at the bottom but have the flare over the wheel wells. F150-F250-F350 doesn't matter. Aftermarket radio wiring
If the big wire is factory, it looks like it might be a CD changer connector cable. I have seen even a reg cab truck with a factory 6 disc changer mounted to the back wall of the cab behind the drivers seat. Anyone run Rotella 15w40
The 91 my dad bought new had about 200k on it when I sold it. We used Rotella in it from new. It used about 2 quarts in a 5k oil change after about 100k.
