No dirt was in the holes I kept them clean and clear. A couple of them had darker tips than the rest, but they all looked similar- 01 lb7

Ok so I just ran it for a half hour or so to make sure no air was in the system, and at idle, it is very shakey, raise it above 1k is normal and 2k it has a very slight miss, like one every5-10 seconds. Would you still say injectors or could it be that the pump isn't opening the injectors...- 01 lb7

because they were leaking remans from pensacola old no idea no no but i wasnt complaining of blue smoke and roughness before i changed them. i replaced them because one or more was leaking and evertime i started it after it sit for more than an hour or two and it would miss and...- 01 lb7

well from what was just said it cant be correct because the fuel is being injected too soon, so i need to retard the timing but i don't have the timing tools, and i need to get it close cause i dont see it running worth crap on the road once i finish getting it out of the shop, it idles ok, its...- 01 lb7

Ok I figured as much. What s the best way to time it by ear. And would timing cause it to run a little rough at 2k? And it blue smokes a bit too. All this at a stand still as it hasn't been out of the shop- 01 lb7

See at first I thought you were being an a hole, but after I looked at it it is pretty much idiot proof, and the main problem is someone had turned the idle screw in for whatever reason.- 01 lb7

well without ever looking at it or seeing if it was adjustable and knowing that a solenoid can short out to power and cause something to stay 'ON', it sounded like a good idea.- 01 lb7

truck broke down.. need help
the fuel filters chevy designed are not a very good design so i wouldn't doubt the filter being clogged, the sending unit has absolutly nothing to do with the truck getting fuel, all it is, is a gauge. the next thing to check is make sure there is no air leaks in the system, the fuel filter...- 01 lb7
