Well folks since I managed to wreck my leg in a motorcycle accident recently I'm kinda on the wayside for a while. I do have one nice thing that has happened because of it. I managed to get my Alldata working again and for the guys here if you need repair procedures shoot me a PM with year, make, model,etc plus what you are doing. I'll print off the repair procedure to an PDF file and e-mail the procedure to you. It usually has good pics of what you need to do and torque specs and what not. Just a small way I can help the folks on the site while I'm laid up healing.

How about a wiring diagram for an '87 Chevy C30 Crewcab with 454 and Turbo 400? I seem to have misplaced my schematic....

I just looked at it. All I can say is run for your life. Flat rate which is on a rack with all tools comes in at 6 hours. On the ground I'd say add 4 more to that number.

Ive been told i can knock it out in about 3 hours in my driveway. Does it tell you to pull the motor ?

Nothing on pulling the engine but you have to hang the engine because your pulling pretty much all the supports. I'll get it configured tonight to print it correctly. I'm trying but it's arguing with me. I will warn though these procedure are supplied to these folks by the carmakers so they ask for some funky tools.

I wonder if VW wants to be complicated about it when i can do it easier in my driveway. Im looking at buying one that needs a clutch.

I've got about a dozen choices to play with on the engine and instruments pretty much suck. That old stuff kinda sucks on schematics. I'll work on getting things printed tonight and ready to be sent. I've got to reconfigure my print settings to make everything work right.

This isn't a FSM. This is a computer program that tells me pretty much everything about the vehicles in it. Tell me what you're working on and what you're fixing and I'll get the info sent to you. This program is 780 GB of info in total. I also have a copy of the ford factory workshop manuals cd from 97-08 It's only 4 GB in total.
