The winch, I use this car to pull project trucks around, in and out of the garage etc. rear gears are high. I’ve been thinking about this and the steering position of the Cadillac and I’m probably not going to use the caddy for the IDI and find a 68-74 full size muscle car with stick shift. Then use a 2wd zf5

I was thinking high gears with a C6 would be perfect for the IDI.

Spoke with dad, it’s a C4.

Dads 79 C10 has a 355,T350,2.56, rear gears and 29” (235/75/r15). it loves 70 mph and will happily run 80 (I90 SL)
