Update on this.
When I said it wasn’t worth doing, looking back, I think it’s worth it, I was wrong. Has been unseasonably warm here in Kansas, 70 degrees at one point, and no matter how hard I push it, I can’t get my EGTs over 1150. This intake really works very good. I am very happy with how it turned out. I’d almost go as far as to recommend it… especially since the 6.0 filter has just about the best filtration, and amazing flow.
