Stuck on defrost. Smoking lines. Big leak coming from under the hvac fan housing area. I stuck my stick camera down there but still can't see it leak.
There is a black line that leads along bottom of wiper tray (top of firewall) to back behind the fan housing and down. On the camera I can see a check valve.
Where does that line connect to?
Can I install my own line and check valve? Need to know where this black line ends up.
The last photo. Is that a T-fitting? Is that small line supposed to attach to anything? That is where smoke pouting out of. Is it a vent and supposed to be open? Or is it the check valve has gone bad? I can't get my hands in there
I don't know where the vacuum line runs from this photo which is from behind the fan housing.
