After 100 degree heat yesterday, I decided to start the process of getting ac in my truck. I've included pics of the start of the day up to where I left off, and the bone pile of parts. After getting this far into it, I've decided I'm going to replace the heater core as well. There was a few...
So I replaced the steering stabilizer with a new "rough country" brand. I had grandiose plans to start on the ac since I presumably have all the parts needed to get that up and running, but the daughter had electrical issues with her house so that changed plans. I've never done vehicular ac work...
Yesterday I was on ebay and saw a case of Wix brand oil filters for our trucks listed for $130 delivered. I thought, WWOGD, (what would old Goat do) so I bought them. Seems I did the right thing. :Thumbs Up

You have the same year truck as mine. You don't have a picture posted, however. Is yours a crew cab? I've had zero luck finding door panels for the rear doors. I'm to the point of buying a 3D printer and seeing what kind of results I get.
Sounds like just a bit of time and labor. I'm wanting to replace my headliner and carpeting, can't get the dog hair out of the carpet and I don't have a dog.
Cutting down on the noise level would be the biggest benefit. I can barely hear anyone talking to me when the engine is running, plus...
