ZF5 with a 205 transfer

Has anyone done this? It requires (?) a modification of the trans. tailshaft housing to clear the shifting shaft on the 205. I need the ratio (2:1) of the 205 and don't want to go back to the 1345 transfer.

I did it! I will post some pics of what I did to mine. Its real easy!!

I used the shifter out of the 79 that I took the 205 out of. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hmm. Yeah I'd like pictures and description of what you did.

No problem with taking a chunk out of that area? Or was your solution different.
Apparently the 205 will mate with no problem other than that shift shaft interfering with the Zf housing right at the bolt up area.

Not sure what your picture is showing there but do post please.
