Your thoughts on my reliability problems

Yeah if the IDI has a compromised foundation (frame), I'd be cautious investing any money or time. If / when you decide to sell it, the frame issue will almost certainly reduce what you can get for it. If you already have a lot of new parts installed, might be worth looking for a similar truck with good frame and transferring your new parts. The stroke is sounding better and better.

The IdI is twisted although it is aligned correctly and it tracks great with all the cracks welded up (I’m a professional fabricator so the cracks are not scary or intimidating at all) and the stroke is a much better project as it’s straight and clean. Although things like the starter going out and the door handle falling off yesterday make it a little more difficult to drive daily as the idi is just nearly indestructible as we all know. At the moment I’m kinda stuck haphazardly switching back and forth depending on which one is driveable at this very second.
