We've all heard about it, some of us have done it.

I am now able to claim status of both.

Took a video of it taking effect on the 6.9. Plan to take another vidya after 24 hrs when I revive the beast.

Post em up tomorrow!

Glad you have a better working rig now!
FYI you can just run the ATF you don't need to dump it out. You could easily run these IDI's on 50% ATF so a little half quart in the system doesn't hurt anything.

But hey happy IDI, happy life, right? LOL

FYI:
I got bad fuel in Alpine, TX .. swapped the filter, had nothing but 10w40 to prime the filter/system ... worked very nicely.
The beast fired (and sounded) great.
Fresh fuel cycled and "we" were on the road.

I also just run full atf with a filter change, easier to pour in than diesel.

I once got caught low on fuel in a bad part of Washington DC with my mother in law in tow. We found a gas station that didn't have diesel and I went in and bought all the ATF they had. Once my mother in law got over the shock, she was pretty happy that we were able to get out of town running pure ATF.
