Hey Towcat, on the 92's, do all the 1 tons have 10.25's in the rear? I need to do brakes on my truck to pass inspection, and want to know if i have to pull the axle shafts out to do it. I think on the dana 70 you have to, but on the 10.25 you don't?
unless you have a van rear, it's going to be a 10.25. the drums slip off. if you live where they salt, then you will need penetrating oil and a BFH.

I actually ended up having some appointments, so i just let the mechanic that inspected it do the brakes. Cost me about $250, but i didn't have the time.
