Hey guys.

I just got stranded running out of fuel in my 94 f250. My rear tank had rotted some time ago so I removed it and only run off of the front tank. However, this means that my fuel gauge does not work since the rear plug is not attached to anything.

What wires do I have to jump to get my gauge working again?

The rear sending unit connector does not need to have anything connected to it for the front sending unit to work.

Is the selector valve still in place, and is it still electrically connected? If not, that's the problem. You'll need to jump the terminals on that connector. This - http://userpages.chorus.net/elephant/fueltankselector.pdf - is for a PSD, but should be the same. So if you run a jumper between terminals 4 and 5 (Yellow/White and DarkBlue/Yellow) on the FSV connector, that should restore gauge ops.

The FSV was connected but I removed it to fix the old fuel lines and fuel issues that I was having. The fuel gauge didnt work with the FSV in place either but ill get under there and jump those wires to see what happens.

So the colors coming out of my FSV are: Black/white, Blue/Red, Yellow/Blue, and Red/Green.

The wires at my front tank do not match any of those but it does have a Yellow/White wire.

Assuming my front sender works, would this be as simple as providing +12v to the correct wire running into my front tank?

You have to have the fuel selector switch on the dash set to front tank, then jumper/connect the two wires together at the FSV, one from the tank gauge, to the one going to the dash fuel gauge.

You must be registered for see images attach

I believe I got it. The plug I was looking at was for the rear anti lock brake valve. The FSV and the ABS valve were both removed and I was not sure what the FSV plug actually looked like. Gauge appears to be functioning now.

Good to hear, and good thing you double-checked. Jumping terminals on that RABS connector might have led to a... er.... bad day.
