I had a Ford van that would not shift out of park. It was a blown fuse causing it.

The fuses are all good, and i don't have any brake lights, so I'm thinking it is the safety switch for the brake pedal , I would like to find out if there is any way to bypass that switch. I really appreciate any and all input on this...

I would troublshoot the brake lights not working. You should be able to bypass (Jumper wires together) the switch on the pedal and the brake lights should come on if all is good and the switch is bad.

If that doesn't work:
Check Light bulbs
Verify voltage to bulbs
Check fuses again

With the vehicle off and the key on can you shift to nuetral?
