I don't put a whole lot of faith in that article. It seems to have been written to push up the futures market in diesel.
biofuels generally have a low cost premium to dino diesel. Any large price spices should be lessened by an increase of biofuel on the market.

My $285.51 fill up this morning is argument enought... didnt seem to age very well did it?

Nope. Though to be fair, I don't think the author or I anticipated this war. If this european ban on Russian oil actually goes into effect I think we are in for even higher prices for a long time.
Buy stock in oil companies and use your profit to fill your tank.

.....ya know.....these IDIs will run on used motor oil......I just keep driving right past the gas station.... and when that runs out, horses.

This is why the Excursion sits in the driveway and I drive the gasser F-150... almost the same fuel economy (empty) and a buck-fity a gallon cheeper..... and not $100+ oil changes either....
