i remember seeing someone had installed white faced gauge covers on their '92-'97 style cluster from ebay, i know i've seen the covers that cover the WHOLE cluster, not just where the needle sweeps. i was going to get them for my ranger. anybody know where i can get the ones that cover the whole cluster, some of my dash lights are out so if i'm going to take it apart i may as well install them... :sly :D

thanks

Are you looking for the full overlay style [as shown in my pic] or the small teardrop like on fleabay?

Mine are white in daytime but illuminate blue at night and are called "reverse glow"...just gotta remember where I got them ........

One thing to keep in mind esp if you plan on diesel power is to make sure the tach shows the lower RPM's and the fuel is labeled Diesel Fuel Only ;Sweet

A pic of mine... hope this helps

I haven't seen any but I've seen a lot of people build a custom dash to put in real guages instead of the factory ones

I just put blue LED's in my 93, the dash and HVAC panel. It looks good. For the early 80's gauges, painting them is the way to go. I painted the guages in my 85 with appliance white and then used a sharpie to color the lines and needles. Here's how both turned out. I know the LED pic looks choppy, but the cluster is fully illuminated.

Wow that looks amazing. Did you take each gauge out of the 85 to paint it, or did you do the whole thing with just the cover removed? I've always felt that the dash illumination on my 83 was too dim. At least I've felt that way as long as I can remember. What I can't remember however, is if I felt that way when it was new. Which begs the question, is it my eyes that are dim, or the dash? 26 years together and I can't tell anymore.
