I am going to install an electric fuel pump that is made for diesel fuel. It needs a regulator, so I am planning to use a Holley 12-803 regulator.

The Holley 12-803 regulator is probably made for gasoline, but I am wondering if it will work for diesel fuel too?

Will diesel fuel damage the diaphragm in the regulator?

Diesel fuel is thicker than gasoline. will the regulator work with this thicker fluid?

Has anybody used this regulator with diesel fuel?

Does anybody know of a regulator that is made for diesel fuel?

I am running that regulator on mine, I have a pressure gauge in one of the 2 outlets. Works fine 2yrs running. Set it at 7psi.

The Holley is a good one, if it is the one I'm thinking of. You want a bypass type regulator. Add a fuel filter before it and get the extra benefit of having your fuel cleaned multiple times before it gets to the engine.

Not more PSI, but more flow - GPH, to keep up..... a higher supply does not give your more flow, it is just trying to shove it into the IP harder. you need a "bigger bucket" of fuel at higher rpms.....

Yup that looks the same as the Holley. I paid like $97 for mine at Pep Boys.
