im kinda skurred about the combustion chamber on the one pictured, looks like everything else will clean up just fine.

Looks like some stuff bounced around in there Brian. Any chance you got to see the long block and/or the piston that came out of the abused cylinder? Might tell the story of what the object and/or situation was there.

Good machine shops can bring lots of stuff back to life, I'm just always super hesitant as my questionable eyes (read old) can't see microscopic cracks and/or other stuff that might matter (additional ducats) when they get to the machine shop.

I'm inclined to agree with WesPaul and keep looking.

these engines seem pretty sensitive to valve depth, i am not sure it looks like it has enough material to clean up the seat properly and keep a decent valve depth.
