What year ford truck had largest engine bay

Is there a difference between the 7.3, 6.0, and 6.4 Ford truck engine bays. What years had the largest in terms of length and height.

I would say the obs trucks.

By obs do you mean the 97 and older. They actually have the smallest engine bay

Yes. The newer trucks may technically have more area, but half of it is under the firewall.
I'm assuming you are swapping a I6? It's been done to every year ford out there. Pick the body style/interior you like the most

Well iv seen a few dt360 swapped obs trucks and there's bearly enough room for electric fans. I found someone who put a dt466 with a mechanical fan from a bus in a 2008 f350 with no firewall mods. so I know for sure the super duty trucks have a longer engine bay just not sure if there's a difference between the years

The 08-10 trucks are seemingly larger. Should be plentiful to find with a blown up 6.4.....

What's a good price for a blown up 6.4 truck most of the ones I see there asking over 8000

Whats crazy is seeing someone come onto the forums "people told me to stay away from the 6.0, so I bought a 6.4, how do I fix it?"
I think we have two members with 6.4's, seem to have gotten "good ones."

My 6.0 was.a good one! Never had an engine problem.
