Pull the turbo off the dodge and I'd bet it would have an EGT problem as well LOL. If your doing loads regularly, I would look into a turbo IMO.

No question. Old 12-valve Cummins (same displacement, no turbo) are about 1/2 the truck.
And if the Ford was the only truck I had, it would have one :)

I get around 300 cruising around town unless I'm driving aggressive. Country roads maybe 450-600. Highway is about the same. UHaul pump (and engine) with the pump turned up a little. I will try to get a video... Max boost with the banks is about 8psi so far, she likes to hit 6. Lol. Needs more fuel :sly

On the old engine, before doing all the work to the turbo, and I'm sure she was consuming oil. Idle was 300, around town 3-4. Country road about 550-650, highway 650++

I'm running a 90cc injection pump on stock injectors and still have a 4 speed 4wd, and I haven't put on the turbo on yet.

If I'm pulling a hill empty or loaded it'll climb up to 1200 easy so I have to be really careful till I get the turbo on to bring my egts back down when I'm putting power to the ground

Just drove 600 mile round trip, empty not counting wife and kids. This was the first good freeway trip since bad EGT sensor was replaced in mid august. Cruise control set at 72 for 200 miles straight. EGT was 350-400, going up a 10 mile hill still about 72mph EGT got up to 575-600, outside temp was 45-50ish. I wonder what it will be in the summer.

The full banks kit on the truck includes 2.75" exhaust so perhaps that's why it seems to be cooler than some other posts?
