Only crew cabs doors I have are on my truck. Maybe i should go door-less like the jeeps. :sly

Hey Bobs_idi, thanks for the offer and sorry for the late response, but I just got out of class. My parts selection is just for a single cab 88 2wd.

I do have the core support off of the 88.

Well i decided to just take the whole down pipe off and wow does that turbo sing better. Okay back to the project, it made the noise a couple time but faintly. So I got back from getting some diesel and decided to stick it back on and make it nice and tight and ensured the bracket was tight, made no noise. Went about .1 down the road and i heard it again. Pulled over and saw that the down pipe came loose again. I just put it on tight again and also temporarily put a piece of wire to make sure it stays away from the tranny. We will see, but it looks like that what might be the problem.

Well no more grinding noise. Just have to space it from the cab some more. It is the stupid bracket for the down pipe. On to my other problems.
