I've got a DPS 2 stage kit sitting in the garage. After reading all this (which alot of it is WWAAYY over my head) I'm more than a little worried I think I have the potential to turn into Travis. This would be bad for my motor.

The blue stuff, it has ****(25%) to stop it from freezing
in -35 weather. Just don't do what half these guys are doing
by pumping the **** in a stream and by the gallon, or you'll
be the next guy talking about detonation and motor parts
scattered all over the highway. There's a reason there is
kits ready made to install. Someone else has already
trashed a handful of motors doing research and development.
It's up to you though, good luck...........................

guys---you posted many theorys--think of this--if you had a compressed space of two cu ft--and dumped 1 gal of water in there--no problem--now dump2.1 cu ft of water in there on the bottom of compression stroke--now tell me what happens--me thinks the theory of water to horsepower is incorrect--more like water to compressed cu inch--with compression ratio thrown in---a psd at 17.5 to 1 would probably be able to take more water before breakage than the idi at 22 to 1---and as said--.12 gal per hour would be good start--and by robs measurement of noise--thats when to stop--before pre-detonation--he said it staarted to rattle---of course you have pressure of the pump also---as previously stated---
