Wanting to put a turbo on my 85 350

So I have an 85 Ford 350 6.9 ambulance with 60,000 miles on it! It drives amazing down the highway until I hit a steep hill then I bog down hard.. looking to get more hp and torque out of her would you guys recommend a turbo if so what all should I consider before I put on one? If anyone has any other ideas to increase my ho and torque I am totally open to suggestions!!

Head studs are almost a requirement for turboing a 6.9. Of course that will require pulling the engine since it's a van on the front end. You'll also need a turbo kit for a van. They are different than one for a truck. Please don't let me discourage you from doing this, I'm just giving you a couple of need-to-know tips.
