Voltage issues….. please help

Ok guys I just bought an 03 3500 automatic 4x4 crew cab 5.9 ****** it’s got 206,000 on it. Runs awesome however…. The check gauges light comes on and it start charging at almost 15v. The code it throws is battery temp sensor low circuit. And battery temp sensor low performance. I’ve replaced battery’s alternator battery temp sensor cleaned all the grounds and it’s still doing it…. Anyone have this problem?!

On that setup is the voltage regulator inside the alternator or external. I suspect the voltage regulator.

It’s regulated in the ECM is what I’m told…
