So I bought a Utility box with the insurance money from the uninsured Ummm, motorist. yeah thats it, anyway I am cutting off the mounts cause it came off a 2000 chevy, gonna
make it fit the ford and the floor will be stock height, was at Potter Webster to get round led lights , 12 bucks each , 24led, ;Sweet And they had a 12k lb reciever hitch for 150 new closeout half price, needless to say I scooped it right up.
I will add some pics tomorrow of the progress and also the Bronco tank fit that has been asked for.

There will be pics of the whole process, I just forgot the camera today.

I found this box for 700 on seattle cl. It is a Knapheid in great shape, 3 little dents counting the one i made.

Ok first pic is of the only way to drill a hole:D
Cut out front mount that was 5.75 inches high, put in 3x4 tube ,same height as stock bed.

second pic is of the rear , put a 2x4 tube in there and clearanced the back channel to sit down over the frame, removed the second from back k member and and framed around the fuel tank area as the member would have smashed the tank.
Third pic, sitting on the front tube, rear needs a 1/4 inch frame lip trim to sit down, front filler will take some custom/creative work, rear will be easy.

It was on a 2000 chev so nothing mountwise was useable.

It is my bosses, makes life easy.

Oh and since I lowered it I need to cut out the rear boxes for the spring hangars, about 2.5 to 3 inches high and half the compartment length.

So the front filler was easy, rear is a pain ,slow but works. And I went up to the jobsite to put on the camper and found utility boxes and campers dont mix. I will take pics when I remove the camper but suffice it to say I will have a strangely shaped left rear tool compartment.

Oh, I removed the 24 hr service decals, wife said that may not be a good thing for me to have on a truck, makes me wonder if she knows something I dont.:dunno
