Used motor oil as fuel Supplement.

I have a 99 fleetwood Discovery diesel pusher, 5.9 Cummins.
The guy that owned it before me said he used 25 to 30% used, filtered motor oil, is that a good practice for these engines, should I continue, anything to look out for?
