find the little triangle cover on the pass side of the pump and remove. dont damage the gasket. a pint or so of fuel will come out. place a rag or 2 under the pump to catch it all. will look like this

inside that hole is the adjusting screw. if the pin on the front of the engine is at 12 oclock, the screw will be visible with a mirror. will look like this.

closer veiw.

turn that screw clockwise to increase fuel. counterclock wise to decrease fuel. screw is a 5/32 allen. use a GOOD quality allen as the screw can be hard to turn. An allen key has 6 side, so 6 flats. when we reference "a flat" it is one side of the allen key.

>>>DISCLAIMER! WE THE MEMBERS OF OILBURNERS DO NOT RECOMMEND TURNING UP YOUR INJECTION PUMP WITHOUT INSTALLING A PYROMETER<<<

ford idi engines can very easily be ran over the 1200 degree recommended EGT. we do not want you to melt down your engine.
