I have a 94 f250 with 7.3lidit, and runs like a champ. recently I had to replace a ball joint on passanger side to fix a realy bad vibration and steering issue. the bad vibration is gone but now the steering is getting worse. when I turn right it feels like something gets locked up, and will not come true until I jerk the wheel to the left. I need help, please.

I also can't afford a dana 60 (my dream) now, and can't afford to have my truck down. idk what my CO would say if I took up the shop for a week.

Here...lift the front wheels of the truck off the ground. place on jackstands for safety

Disconnect the tie rods from each of the knuckles, turn each wheel L and R see for binding...place jack under balljoint of wheels or under wheel(floor jacks work) test again with load on ball joints, see if binding.

While Tie Rods off check rest of steering linkage for any binding.

Check Ujoints in the front axle I have had those cause binding in one spot but when rotated a little no binding...

Second that on the axle shaft U-joints. There's a picture around here with a guy standing on the stub shaft and the joint is so seized that it will not move with his weight placed on it;Really:eek:

Sounds like seized front axle u-joints to me.;Sweet Rotate the shafts 90* with your hands and see if the steering gets any better....Easy test.
