i used this under my truck on all the rust. the body shops around me use it to seal and stop rust.

I am sorry but you cant stop rust by painting over it.

It needs to be cut out or sandblasted, they are the only 2 ways

I wish i could pull the bed, but when i did this all i wanted to do was R/R the tank. Now that its in the garage loaded with crap it'll be more hassle and i have no where to stash it (yard is full of snow and the neighbors wont like having two truck beds in the yard...). As for the rust stopping, we used POR-15 on our Fairlane with greast results, and i use this Rustoleum before with great results, but i prep before i use it. I wire wheeled the frame and then sanded it down till most of the crude was gone and wiped it all down with some cleaner...BTDT the wrong before. Not to worried about the frame on the outside, thats going to be done again outside when i have more room to work.

Also cleaned up the wiring mess for the rear pigtail for the trailor harness (cut that crap out, repaired wiring). I know im jumping around a lot but im doing things as i can, while waiting for stuff to dry, parts to come in or most importantly...time! working 6-6 sucks.

i forgot to make it, where does the spring go?

That spring goes from there aft to the bracket that is bolted to the frame rail and that holds the sheathing for your rear parking cables. Least that's how mine is...

Sheathing, housing, same difference - I dunno how ya'll backwards coalcrackers call stuff, lol But look at that equalizer bar that you have in the pic, from there start tracing the cables towards the rear of the truck - the first bracket that you meet will be bolted/riveted to the frame rail, and it will have the bare cables go in from the front of the truck, and cables in sheathing/housing come out towards the rear - that's the bracket the spring hooks up to, there's a hole for it right in the middle between the two cables. Clear as mud now?

ok, just askin cuz my friends f-250 i routed differently (goees over the driver front sping hanger with a little piece of hose it seems over it). i think i hooked it up right...why cant it be simple like my 93 F-150...just a piece where the front goes ina nd the two rear exit.

sometimes brake drag can be caused by a collapsed brake hose kinda common not sure if I have heard of it on rear drums but why not. Prob a $20 hose you won't have to worry about if it's not.
