Hi all. Looking for some help/advice on the new brake system I installed. Switched over to a Battle Born Hydroboost kit(great kit by the way), new upgraded M/C, new Lee power steering pump. The problem Im having is a super stiff pedal and basically no brakes. Bled the brakes 4 times( yes I did bleed the RABS) no improvement. I'm planning to reach out to Battle Born and get their thoughts as well. Thanks a bunch .

With the BBB set up there is no need to modify the pedal. That was the first thing that came to mind. I will check the push rod and make sure thats all good. Keep ya posted

Decided to change back to the old master cylinder with the smaller bore to see if that might make a difference. It's not quite as stiff but still the brakes are pretty sketchy. Definitely not what you would expect from a hydroboost system. This thing is kicking my butt!

Power steering works great. That Lee pump is nice. Its basically has the internals like a Saginaw pump.

real hard pedal makes me think something with the booster is not right. Its not getting enough flow or pressure from the pump, or maybe something is blocked? or maybe bad out of the box. It happens from time to time.

Thanks for the response guys. Im not sure how to set up the link but the vendor is Battle Born Brakes out of Washinton. They sell brake and suspension components for early Fords and other makes. I checked the hose routing and compared it to my F350 which has hydrboost as well. That all seems good. Admittedly I could see myself missing that. I read and re read the directions as well. There are only two hoses to mess up..Yeah,its almost like something is blocked. At least the MC can be taken out of the equation. Hoping to hear back from Jacob the owner and see if he might have any thoughts. Ill keep picking away at it.
