Dang, makes me wonder what the Temps were with the original cooler and original pan....

Now you see why I sunk so much extra money into the cooler and deep pan. Thankfully I avoid very hot weather mostly. I don't mind paying a few nights in an RV park if it's hot. I did that last summer for roof A/C.

Yesterday driving from Portland to Pendleton, it only got the pan to 180 a few times. Engine was a bit warmer (200 or less) because I had the A/C on for Lucy's benefit. A vent points right to her and kept her from panting for all those hours of driving. It kept me more comfortable too, of course.

It's only going through be around 90F up here in the mountains on Monday. 15 miles back down the highway/mountain in Pendleton, it'll be ~100. 90 is tolerable for a day with my 12v box fans and two roof vent fans.

Gonna hunker down here for the 14 night limit and enjoy the forest. Lucy couldn't wait to get out and walk.
