i really need a big right side mirror for blind spot viewing. Little round ones don’t cut it. I can’t see crap in it when looking quick while in motion.

I have a large 5” round one down low on the left side (a junk yard find) but I’d want one even bigger for the right side if possible.

It’s for an 87.

I took a set of mirrors like that, pulled the mirror off the "loop" mount, installed a 12" piece of aluminum strip(1" wide, 1/4" thick) instead and mounted the mirror to the end of that.
Effectively pushed the mirror an extra 8" out.

It's kind of wide now, but it worked extremely well for being able to see around my camper.

Maybe. I wouldn’t mind having basically two mirrors like that. One for regular and one for blind spot. Like semis have I guess.

I might have to make a bracket so I can mount one above the other.

This is what the PO put on my truck. Feel like I'm driving a school bus again but it does serve its purpose

I run the older GM style truck/tow mirrors on my truck...much easier to see where I came from.

That’s like what I have on the drivers side, but the round mirror is just mounted in a different spot.
