I have the ferret adapter, I just don't have the adjustable light. Reading the reviews on the actrons and similarly priced meters leads me to believe some are decent quality and some are absolute junk. And as much as I love the Matco truck I really don't want to spend that much money on a timing light.

Cheap a$$ timing lights are very unstable at the 2000 RPM that the IDI's have to be timed at. The Actron timing light I have shown is stable at that RPM.

I was referring to longevity, a lot of the reviews said they would break after a couple uses.

Hey Gary, what are all the degree offsets for the idi engines? As you said, I knew that 1&4 are both the -20 offset

Well hell.. Grest nap and a horrible time searching found nothing yet. I will find the individual cylinder offsets. Its just not as easy as I thought it was going to be...

I don't know know how to do it, but couldn't it be done with math knowing the firing order and offset of 1 & 4?
