Throttle spring placement

Look at this fast idle solenoid and the bracket. See the tiny V notch at the top of the braqcket. Thats where the throttle spring correctly fits. In this pic the bracket is upside down so this end of the bracket will be way down low by the injection pump. The other end of the double spring is connected to the ball end of the throttle lever as the cables fit to the ball also.

Someone went nutz with a soda blaster, wonder if it works seeing how they had it upside down.
