Is that for all CC F350 diesel AAL's or just one particular brand? I am not sure if I need to order two leaves or just one? I dont want my rig to touch the clouds just sit a bit higher and match or sit slightly lower than the rear. Right now I am measuring a 3" difference between front and rear. I'd like to go with a 2-2.5" lift.

What is RSK? I am thinking its a reverse shackle setup?

I used to work a a 4wd shop when i did the aal and lift. IIRC skyjacker was the only one to offer the aal. And in the skyjacker book one of the footnotes was that crew cabs used the 2 leaf aal.

Here is the stock springs w the RSK(reverse shackle kit) and a 5" block in the rear. Also 315/75/16 tires on 16x10 wheels. I dont have any picks of my crew w just the RSK

You can do a AAL on the front of a F250, but not a RSK. An RSK would require a full lift kit for the frontend because of the TTB front suspension. By the time you do all that, you could have got a D60 front and an RSK and cured your leveling problem and alignment problems all in an easy bolt in package. TTB's don't like lifts. it throws the alignment way off, and sometimes you can't get it back.

I am looking at putting a 1.5" AAL under the front end to level out the rig a little. The front measures 23.5" from the center of the hub to the wheel well and the rear is 26.1". What I want to do is make the rig sit more level. Usually I like the raked look but I want the rig to sit more level and look a hair cooler!!! (My opinion) I saw a guy with a leveled rig and it just looked cool and now I got the thought in my head of doing it to mine. Also, my tires tend to rub a little and I want that gone (I chopped the front bumper to aleviate mos of the ribbing though) I dont tow that often FYI so tow ability is not that big of a factor.

My question is whether or not guys have done this and liked it or what the verdict is on an AAL for a Full sized rig?

Looking for feedback!!!

This is the lift I am looking at:

i got mine from superlift 130$ and put them on mine and it sits so much better, im very happy with it,of coarse it rides like a real truck now, its a little ruffer.;Really it cost 55$ to get my tow in set back, i recomend doing this, cause i believe that when you lift somethin it throws everything off, thats what the alinment shop told me

the only thing that gets moved w a add-a-leaf is the wheel center. toe is not affected

Ben, I think I meant my comments to apply to bigblack250's questions about a f250 TTB lift. (post #14)

Sorry for any confusion. I also got confused with a spring flip and the RSK. Thanks for setting me straight ;Sweet

Bigblackf250, Ben is right, i'm wrong, but, I know that you can't do a spring flip without a lift kit. (unless your spring packs are de-arched)

I lo0ked when I got home, shackles are fixed in front already.

I did the same AAL's as Ryan (Reklund) on my daughter's F250. Best bang for the buck so far I think. You will need to get an alignment done. Expect another $100+/- for that. The first truck I did was my wife's F250, which I put air bags on. I like the bags for adjustability, but they are kind of a pita if you don't keep an eye on 'em. AAL's are much easier.

Got it Fishin, thanks.
I think I am going to do the aal, as I am soon going to have replace my 33/12.50-16.5 (worn out) with a little taller tire, no other way to get them in there with lifting the front some, already done the bumper trim years ago just to clear the 33's.

Just figgered I'd throw my .02 in the pot.

I bought the 1.5" AAL from suspension connections and installed them yesterday. First time I've ever done suspension work on a 4X4... but it went well.

Here's what it looked like before:

And here's what it looked like after:

The after pic was taken right after I lowered the truck off the jackstands. I measured about 2.5" of lift, but I'm thinking it will settle after I put some miles on her.

As far as the ride is concerned, it seems to me that she actually rides somewhat better. So far I've got about 15 miles under my belt with the AAL and it's only been on pavement.

I'm fairly certain an alignment is now in order. Before I put the AAL on her, the front tires barely pulled in at the top. Now there's a slightly noticeable bowing out of the tops of the tires. It may be my imagination, but it seems there's a slight toe-out as well.

All in all, with the few miles I've put on her, I'm satisfied having spent about $150 and six or seven hours yesterday installing them. I'll post back after I get some more miles on them.
