Getting ready to ship the C350 to Texas from Washington.
Like all the Centurions, the bondo job they did at the F350/Bronco shell was junk when new, and peeling up now.
I'm doing all the interior and exterior later.
That said, I don't want to use new urethane bondo if it's all coming off by next year.
Looking for suggestions on a temp sealer that wont be a major pain to remove.
There's only a 1' wide strip on top side to side that leaks.

I would buy a tube of cheap automotive seam sealer. They usually need to be painted, but it would probably be fine for a year

I second the gorilla tape. Texas has far less rain than the west coast, but a lot more sun. Id take it off once in texas.

Ummmm
Bondo IS NOT the sealing agent in question here...
There would " normally " be a very good weldment joining the 2 bodies, then body seam sealer, then bondo. Those hackfab guys probably didn't use seam seal.

If you're interested in a stopgap fix just for shipping, then perhaps there is the good gaf tape and sheeting method.
I'd use the most expensive sticky stuff and some form of heavy plastic or vinyl like the shippers use on luxury boats.
You need something that won't buffet in the wind.

You need to pad the sharp edges of the bondo first though.
Perhaps the vinyl wrap stuff for instant paint jobs???

Depending on how long 'temporary' is.. Sikaflex has an entire line of sealants for all sorts of situations.

I would not use anything silicone based. You will be hating life later when trying get stuff to stick to the area later.
