Hey guys, I recently bought an '89 crewcab and it has 2 excellent condition bench seats in it. Im pretty sure thats the only way a crewcab came in those days. Previously I had a '90 supercab that had really nice factory buckets w/ console. If I wanted to put bucket seats in place of the front bench in the crewcab, can it be done? Are the seat bracket holes the same or what all would be involved?

Crewcab seat= reg cab seat, Supercabs are a one off seat frame design, you can make it work but it's a not a bolt in.

OK....well now where would I find such seats? I did a google search and tried ebay, but only came up with 5 million seat covers. I assume the seat brackets all the way from 1980 are the same to 1997?

I put some aftermarket buckets that I got out of a super cab into the front of my crew cab. They had brackets bolted to the bottom of them so I just made new brackets, but; the front holes were the same, and the rear holes on the super cab brackets were about 1" rear ward of the crew cab brackets. So you should only have 2 new holes to deal with.

Yeah everyone here speaks the tructh. Crewcab and regular cab share the same seat bases. Supercab is difference than the other pickups and I believe is close to a bronco if not the same.

I put 40/20/40 seats from like a 95 in my crewcab and they are great. (not that I've sat in them for a long time.)

my 85' supercab came with a bench. I found another bench out of an 89' standard cab F150. it bolted right in.
I just scored a nice set of buckets and console from a 90' supercab, the brackets on the outside of each seat looks identical to the brackets on both the bench seats. I belive i will have to drill holes for the inside brackets though.
