So I have a f350 92 crew cab 4x4 automatic that had a 7.3 idi but previous owner removed , got a 84 f250 single cab 2wd four speed 6.9 idi truck last night and removed the eninge. So I'm in the proses of preparing it for the 92, I have almost ever part from both trucks minus a few things the 92 didn't come with, I'm comparing wiring harness rate now. I am wondering about how to hook up the glows plugs, Manuel wiring sounds pretty simple . Also I know about the sensor on the injection pump for the trans and I have it on the old pump, besides that is there anything else I should run into?

If you have the flywheel, and flywheel spacer, you can swap it over onto the 6.9. Be sure to use thread sealer on the bolts and use the bolts from the 7.3 as well to be sure they don't protrude too far into the crankcase.

If you have the glow plug controller from the 92, it would be easier to use that one just because it would hook to the 92 wiring easier....

Pics didn't work. When posting use the advanced tab
Everything should be the same I would ahead and do a manual glow plug swap.

So I'm pretty sure this is the 7.3 controller can I just change the glow plugs to bullet style?

Looks like a 7.3 controller to me.
If it's got that controller it should already have the bullet GlowPlugs.
Looks like that 6.9 had some Love!

I installed that 7.3 wiring harness on the 6.9 , can I switch the glow plugs to bullets and be good to go?
I have both fly wheels and just removed the Manuel one can I use the thread locker in the pic?
Should I torque the fly wheel and if so to how many pounds?
I was going to impact it on in the low setting.

Also I had two leads that I didn't find a match for when I installed the 7.3 92 harness on my 84 6.9, they branched off near the three that goto the injection pump

That's not thread sealer. That is antisieze. Different animal. Get some black rtv and put it on the threads, then torque the bolts to 47 ft/lbs.

Those wires go to the fuel heater and filter head on the 7.3. Your 6.9 filter head is different.

Ok I think I know what the fuel heater is . I don't have to filter head for the 7.3 so what can I do ?
I just put the flywheel on with rtv thank you for the torque spec! And I noticed the 7.3 alternator has a plug to it that my 6.9 one dose not have , I have the mount, can I put the 7.3 one on and change the pully to the old style?

The single wire on the fuel line is just a fuel heater. I wouldn't worry about it. Probably doesn't work anyways.
You should be able to swap all the newer stuff onto the 6.9.
The alt will be better.
